Outdoor Recreation

Important: Renters are responsible for the condition of rental equipment at all times during their rental period until it has been checked back into a Robins AFB Outdoor Recreation counter staff on duty. Damage or loss of any item will be charged to the renter for the cost of repair or replacement. No exceptions.

Renter Eligibility: Includes Active Duty, Guard, Reserve, Retired Military & Dependents 18 years and older, as well as DoD employees assigned to Robins Air Force Base, and DoD contractors authorized for logistics support.

Check Out & Check In Process: Please be sure to check in and out with the front desk. Time frame for pick up and return of all items during posted business hours. All items must be returned no later than 30 minutes prior to close of business to allow for equipment inspection. Appointments may be required for check in/out, please check with staff.

Reservations: Reservations may be made up to 1 year in advance based on availability. Same day rental is available for select items. A minimum of 1 day rental fee is due at the time of booking, along with all necessary documents. Pull-behind items require 1 full business day between rentals for inspection. Fuel is not provided for any equipment.

Cancellations & Refunds:

· Rental Equipment Reservations must be cancelled at least 6 business days in advance to be eligible for a refund. No refunds will be given for items cancelled less than 6 business days prior to the reservation date. Approved refunds will be at a rate of the amount paid minus an 8% processing fee.

· Facility Reservations require cancellation 31 calendar days in advance to be eligible for a refund. No refunds will be given for items cancelled less than 31 calendar days prior to the reservation date. Approved refunds will be at a rate of the amount paid minus an 8% processing fee.

· Process for Refund Request is as follows: Please e-mail robinsodr@gmail.com and allow 3-5 business days for a response. If approved, you will need to come in person to receive a refund using the original form of payment. Remember to allow 3-5 business days for your funds to be returned to your card. No cash refund processed at Robins Outdoor Recreation. Please coordinate with staff for cash refund procedures.

Late & Cleaning Fees: Items are considered late when not returned by the date indicated on the rental agreement. Late and dirty equipment will be charged an additional rental day fee.

Equipment Inspection: Renters must inspect the equipment at check out and check in, in the Outdoor Recreation yard and advise of any discrepancies with Outdoor Recreation staff members. Every attempt is made prior to rental to ensure equipment is clean and serviceable. No refund will be given for renter failure to identify a physical discrepancy prior to rental.

Boat Rental: Georgia Boat License required for any motorized water-craft equipment. All boat rentals include life vests, 2 paddles, 1 cushion, and battery included, pending availability for bass boats with trolling motor. 2″ hitch and 4 way flat electrical connection required.
* We only accept Georgia boat certificates from either www.boatus.org or www.boat-ed.com. This course can be around 6 hours – please plan accordingly.
NO BOATS IN SALT WATER!

Camper Rental: Drivers license and vehicle insurance required at time of rental. 2 5/16″ hitch and 7″ round electrical connection, as well as a towing capacity appropriate for selected equipment are required.
