UNITE Program

The UNITE Program empowers unit commanders to create new opportunities for recreational and cohesive activities to strengthen the bond between members within the unit. All assigned Air Force and Space Force Active Duty, Reserve, Guard and civilian (appropriated and non-appropriated) members are authorized UNITE program funds. 

Host Your Unite Event in 4 Easy Steps:

 1. Complete the POC Appointment Letter
 2. Complete the Event Proposal
    • Work with your installation C3 to discuss event ideas, and to complete the “Event Proposal Form”
    • Event approval may take up to 21 business days
    • You MUST have a unit cohesive activity associated with your event. No exceptions.

 3. Plan, Coordinate, Order, and Execute your Event
 4. Submit After Action Report

It is important to note the following

  • Unite is not authorized for training, awards ceremonies, anniversaries, retirement celebrations, briefings, or holiday parties, ball banquets, eating events
  • Maximum of $500 for DJs
  • Maximum of $500 for venue rentals
  • Members cannot profit by providing vendor services to their own squadron events
  • UNITE funds are not authorized for the purchase of alcohol
  • UNITE funds are authorized for one event per year. However, if you have not exhausted your budget after hosting an event for your squadron, you may be eligible to use the remaining funds for additional events.
  • Squadron CC/CLs have the authority to allow spouses and dependents to participate in an approved UNITE event
    • Units will not receive any additional funding for dependents
    • Events cannot be held for dependents only
  • To use UNITE funds, you MUST have a unit cohesive activity associated with it
  • UNITE funds are available to use through 12 December 2025
