Managing Your (My) Education Track

This two-day workshop is designed for anyone interested in earning an academic degree. Attending this workshop will assist you in identifying the education requirements for a specific career and provide information to guide you as you pursue an undergraduate or graduate degree. The workshop includes multiple activities where you will conduct research on at least two educational institutions and complete the College Comparison Chart.

• Compare/contrast the differences between military training and higher education
• Identify a potential career and the corresponding degree
• Discuss the factors to consider when choosing an institution
• Determine admission requirements
• Identify sources to fund the cost of earning a degree
• Prepare the course Career Readiness Standard (CRS)—a comparison of two higher education institutions
